Use Live Earnings in Claude or ChatGPT

Connect Live Earnings to Claude or ChatGPT once, and ask about earnings calls in plain English: what was said, who said it, and how the analysts' questions were answered. Turns are named to the executive or analyst who spoke, where we can identify them. It only reads — it can't change anything.

Set it up in Claude (about two minutes)

  1. In Claude — on the web at claude.ai or in the desktop app — open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. (A connector you add on the web is there in the desktop app too. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organization may need to add it.)
  2. Paste this address, exactly — nothing after mcp, not even a full stop:https://live-earnings.com/api/mcp
  3. Leave the options Claude fills in as they are (Sign in now and Register automatically), then click Connect.
  4. Sign in to Live Earnings if asked, and click Allow.
  5. Ask your first question. The first time Claude uses each Live Earnings tool, it asks your permission; every tool only reads.

Name the company and the quarter, or ask which calls are available first.

Find a call

  • “Which Live Earnings calls are available?”

Catch up after a call

  • “Summarize Microsoft's Q4 FY26 earnings call.”
  • “What were the main sections of the NVIDIA call, and when did the Q&A start?”

The analyst Q&A

  • “Walk me through the Q&A on Amazon's Q2 call, analyst by analyst.”
  • “Which analysts asked about capital spending, and how did management answer?”

Exact words

  • “Quote exactly what Meta's CFO said about expenses on the Q2 call.”

During a live call

  • “What has been said most recently on the Micron call?”
  • “What's new since then?”

Open the call page

  • “Give me the link to the Tesla Q2 call.”

During a live call, the AI app reads what has been said so far. Ask again for what's new — it doesn't update on its own.

What it won't do

  • Give investment advice, or predict what a stock will do.
  • Show stock prices. (The call page on live-earnings.com has the price chart.)
  • Reach calls that aren't published. You can ask about the calls listed at live-earnings.com/calls.
  • Guarantee every name. Speakers are named automatically and are occasionally wrong — check a quote against the company's own materials before relying on it.

Set it up in ChatGPT

Live Earnings works in ChatGPT too. The setup is similar:

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, then Add → Create MCP App. If you don't see that option, your ChatGPT plan may not offer custom apps.
  2. Name it Live Earnings, paste the same address as above into Server URL, and leave Authentication as OAuth.
  3. Tick the box confirming you understand the risk of custom apps, click Create, sign in to Live Earnings, and click Allow.
  4. Start a new chat and ask any of the questions above, naming Live Earnings if ChatGPT doesn't use it on its own.

Privacy and disconnecting

  • The AI app receives the call content you ask about. It never receives your password or your Live Earnings API keys.
  • To disconnect, remove Live Earnings from Claude's connectors or ChatGPT's plugins.
  • To end every AI app's access to your account at once, email support@live-earnings.com.

If something goes wrong

  • An error when adding the connector (or app, in ChatGPT): check the address ends in mcp — a copied full stop or space after it gives an error.
  • “That is not a call you can see”:the call isn't published. Ask “which Live Earnings calls are available?” to see the ones that are.
  • Sign-in keeps asking: sign in at live-earnings.com in the same browser first, then connect again.
